The History of Khedive Palace
Hidiv Abbas Hilmi Pasha, who was one of the Egyptian governors of the Ottoman Empire at a young age, bought two wooden mansions in 1903 where the pavilion is located today. After a while, Pasha, who also took the 270-acre garden covering the wooded slopes and the upper flat behind the mansions, demolished the wooden mansions and in 1907, on a 1000 square meter area, a magnificent mansion in Art Nouveau style in accordance with the architectural fashion of that period and He built a tower that overlooks the Bosphorus.
Pasha’s family lived in Pavilion until 1937. After this date, the remaining long neglected muscles, Touring and Automobile Club of Turkey in 1984 on behalf Celik restored by Gulersoy served as a hotel for a while.
Pavilion, which was rented from time to time for the series, was restored between 1994-1996 and took its current form.Pavilion, whose operation was given to Beltur, which is the foundation of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in 1996, currently serves as a restaurant and social facility.

Those coming from the European side direction; After the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, they will see the name of Pavilion on the signs, which can be followed. They also include the Istinye / Cubuklu ferry.
Those who want to reach by public transport; They can get off by getting off at the Khedive Palace (Hidiv Kasri) stop using the bus number 15E Line İ.E.T.T. Another way of transportation is to reach Kanlica by using the buses numbered 11H – 15 – 15A – 15F – 15P – 15T and 121A and reach it after a 10-15 minute walk.
